The crowd mentality

When I look at my children, I don't see a crowd. I see each person and the qualities that make him or her unique. That's why it grieves me when my sons and daughters look at their peers with a longing to be like them or to think like them.
I know the fear that drive my people to give in tothe crowd. It is easier for the people of Israel to go along with the spies who trusted their eyes than to stand in faith, trusting my promises. Yet Joshua and Caleb did just that. They chose to stand alone and affirm my presence and power to a multitude who could see only fear and failure.
Today, I want you to remember that you are not alone. Instead of looking at the problem, look to me. I am with you.
