Godly Relationships 69: Enthusiasm for LifeAre you "burning" with enthusiasm about your life? If so, congratulations, keep up the good work! But, if your spiritual batteries are running low, prehaps you're spending too much energy focusing on your losses and too little time planning for future victories.
Writer Sara Jordan has this simple (but effective) advice: "Every day give yourself a good mental shampoo."
So if you're feeling tired or troubled don't despair. Instead, take time to count your blessings as you focus on things positive. And while you're at it, seek strength from the Source that never fails. When you sincerely petition God, He will give you all the strength you need to live victoriously through Him.
Godly Relationships 54: Looking Good? You live in a society that is obsessed with "looking good." Everywhere you turn, you're confronted with a steady stream of subtle messages that try to convince you it's more important to look good than to be good. These message are not only false, but they are also dangerous to your spiritual and emotional health.
Would you like to build a better life? If so, here's a great place to start: worry less about appearance and more about substance. When you do, you may find that you're a little out of step with the world, which is perfectly okay. After all, the world sees people and things as they appear to be, but God sees them as they really are...and that's the way you should try to see them too.
Godly Relationships 55: CommunicationIf you want to build a strong relationship, you should teach yourself to become an effective communicator. And that's exactly what God wants you to do. God's Word reminds us that "Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing" (Proverbs 12:18 NIV).
Today, make this promise to yourself: vow to be an honest, effective, encouraging, communicator, at school, at home, at church, and everyplace in between. Speak wisely, not impulsively. Use words of kindness and praise, not words of anger and derision. Learn how to be truthful without being cruel. Remember that you have the power to heal others or injure them, to lift others up or to hold them back. And when you learn how to lift them up, you'll soon discover that you've lifted yourself up too.
Godly Relationships 59: Your SurroundingsYou can learn a lot about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness by paying attention to the things that happen around you-so keep your eyes and ears open. And while you're at it, please try to remember that "denial" isn't a big river in Egypt. It is the natural human tendency to ignore little problems until they grow too big to ignore.
God is trying to teach you things, and you can learn these lessons the easy way, by learning from other people's mistakes and obeying God. Or the hard way, by making the mistakes yourself and by continuing to make them over and over again until you finally learn something. It's better to learn things sooner rather than later.
Godly Relationships 50: Be PatientThe dictionary defines the word patience as "the ability to be calm, tolerant, and understanding." If that describes you, you can skip the rest of this page. But, if you're like most of us, you'd better keep reading.
For most of us, patience is a hard thing to master. Why? Because we have lots of things we want, and we want them NOW. But the Bible tells us that we must learn to wait patiently for the things that God has in store for us.
The next time you find your patience tested to the limit, remember that the world unfolds according to God's timetable, not yours. Sometimes, you must wait patiently for God to do His work, and that's as it should be. After all, think how patient God has been with you!
Godly Relationships 72: ConcernsThe Bible promises this: tough times are temporary but God's love is not-God's love endures forever. So what does that mean to you? Just this: From time to time, everybody faces disappointments and broken relationships-so will you. And when tough times arrive God always stand ready to protect you and to heal you. Your task is straightforward: you must share your burdens with Him.
As Corrie ten Boom observed, "Any concern that is too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden." Those are comforting words, especially during difficult days.
Whatever the size of your challenges, God is big enough to handle them. Ask for His help today, with faith and with fervor. Instead of turning things over in your mind, turn them over to God in prayer. Instead of worrying about your next decision, ask God to lead the way. Cast your burdens upon the One who cannot be shaken, and rest assured that He always hears your prayers.
Godly Relationships 51: Defend Your BeliefsIf you're willing to stand up for the things you believe in, you'll make better choices, and you'll build stronger relationships. But if you're one person on Sunday morning and a different person throughout the rest of the week, you'll be doing yourself a big disservice.
The moment that you decide to stand up for your beliefs, you can no longer be a lukewarm, halfhearted Christian. And, when you are no longer a lukewarm Christian, God rejoices.
So stand up for your beliefs. Remember this: in the battle of good versus evil, the devil never takes a day off...so neither should you.
Godly Relationships 48: God's AbundanceWhen Jesus talks of the abundant life, is He talking about material riches or earthly fame? Hardly. The Son of God came to this world, not to give it prosperity, but to give it salvation. Thankfully for Christians, our Savior's abundance is both spiritual and eternal; it never falters-even if we do-and it never dies. We need only to open our hearts to Him, and His grace becomes ours.
God's gifts are available to all, but they are not guaranteed; those gifts must be claimed by those who choose to follow Christ. As believers, we are free to accept God's gift, or not; that choice, and the consequences that result from it, are ours and ours alone.
As we go about our daily lives, may we accept God's promise of spiritual abundance, and may we share it with a world in desperate need of the Master's healing touch.
Godly Relationships 62: CourtesyDid Christ instruct us in matters of etiquette and courtesy? Of course He did. Christ's instructions are clear: "In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets" (Matthew 7:12 NASB). Jesus did not say, 'in somethings, treat people as you wish to be treated.' And, He did not say, 'from time to time, treat others with kindness.' Christ said that we should treat others as we wish to be treated in every aspect of our daily lives. This, of course, is a tall order indeed, but as Christians, we are commanded to do our best.
Today, be a little kinder than necessary to family members, friends, and total strangers. And, as you consider all the thing that Christ has done in your life, honor Him with your words and with your deeds. He expects no less.
Overcoming ObstaclesRecognize Your Vulnerability
The Lord has a beautiful plan for each believer’s life. But to thwart God’s purposes, Satan sprinkles obstacles in our path.
There are many types of hindrances, such as a difficult boss, contrary family members, and financial trouble. Anything that blocks a desired goal can cause anxiety and great frustration. But remember that no obstacle can touch you without God’s consent.
Consider Joshua’s army, which was no match for Jericho’s military. And the great wall protecting that city was an impossible barrier to cross. Yet God had promised the Israelite

Called by God to be a servant
of the LOrd and His people
with all of my life.
I am a walking message:
even my children
whose names I did not choose.
I am one of you,
a woman of Israel,
hurting with my people
who won't hear or change.
Turn around, repent!
The future's not unchangeable.
God longs to save, be merciful -
if you but let Him.
Change your ways!
My life is a tool
in the hands of God,
a letter to the world.
Sharing in His longing
for all to be saved.
Sharing in their search
for peace and salvation.
Sharing in His pain
when they turn away.
Sharing in their fear
Here I am, o Lord.
and give me strength
to bear the consequences.
Don't look at me.
I am nothing now.
Don't look at me.
Don't tell me
it was all my fault -
I ask myself already
what I could have done,
why I didn't see.
Don't look at me.
Don't tell me
it was not my fault -
it changes nothing,
does not take the shame.
I could confess,
though it's his sin.
My shame would stay.
You could show pity,
say you forgive,
though it's his sin.
My shame would stay.
Call me innocent -
it will not change
the truth of my shame.
Don't look at me.
I feel dirty.
Nothing can wash me.
I feel hurt.
Nothing can heal me.
I feel lost.
No one can find me.
I don't want them to,
don't want them to see
are you like those
who avoid me now?
Are you like those
who pretend I am fine,
or those who condemn,
are you the listening ear
that lets me scream,
the one who covers
my shame with clothes,
the God of vengeance,
the God who forgives,
who sees my shame
but honours me?
The True Uncorrupted Gospel of Jesus ChristJesus, God himself; innocent and sinless perfection: Came to this corrupt and sinful world. He came for one purpose: and that was to take your deserved place in hell.
He was beaten, spat on, and he was tortured beyond what you could imagine.
The worst torment: Was when he took upon himself all of your sins and the entire world's sins. Imagine all your sins multiplied by billions.
This is when he cried out: "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?"
He died and went to hell in your place!
The wrath of God was poured on him when it should be poured upon you and will be if you do not Repent. You deserve to be there!
I deserve to be in hell! I used to be so lustful and hated people.
Jesus Christ set me free from sin and death.
I not only love, but I love my enemies because of the Love of Jesus in me.
I saw the pit of hell. I heard the screams of the damned.
I felt the heat. I know: I should be there! But God had different plans.
Jesus snatched me out of there before I was swallowed up. He
Priscilla: One FleshYou left your home
and I left mine,
beginning something new.
We met, we loved -
which fingers are yours,
which fingers are mine?
Now I belong to you
and you belong to me,
no longer I,
no longer you,
not only to delight in one another
or in this feeling that awakes
each time I know you're mine.
not only to fill the gap
of longing in my heart
that needs another.
not only for the lives
this union will produce,
little Yous and little Mes.
not only to live side-by-side,
you with your cares,
I with mine.
You left your home
and I left mine.
God brought us together,
and we are one.
Now I belong to you
and you belong to me,
sharing more than our bodies
and more than our home:
sharing one calling,
let us pursue one goal,
and help each other draw the yoke,
for two are better than one.
let us run this race,
support each other when we fall
and pick each other up.
let us serve the Lord,
The Adulteress: StonesI see their feet.
I don't want to see more.
Soon, I won't.
I hear accusations.
I don't want to hear more.
Soon, I won't.
I feel naked,
bare, in the sight of all,
don't want to feel more,
don't want to feel their stones,
if only I hadn't...
if only he wouldn't...
if only, if only.
His lips that kissed me
no half hour ago -
my heart, stone-cold.
Why is he not here?
Why do I get the stones,
while he gets away?
Why was I so stupid?
I see them shuffling.
I hear discussions.
I feel so numb.
Soon I won't
when their stones hit me
and end it all.
No turning back,
no chance to change,
God laughing at me
from the stones they throw
in His name.
cold as a stone,
is that what He is?
I see one drawing in the sand,
I hear: He without sin
shall throw the first stone.
I don't know what to feel.
I see the stones fall, one by one,
into the dust, and not on me.
I hear their footsteps slowly fade.
I don't know wha
Live for Jesus not for a religionYou say I am being religious but I don't have a religion, I have Jesus, He lives in me. You say I am being ridiculous but doesn't it sound like your being ridiculous for not believing in Jesus. You see me and say, "he has changed, he found religion" but I say thank you Jesus. God crushed religions, it is an abomination, we don't need a religion we need Jesus. Was Jesus being ridiculous when He died for our sins? Jesus didn't die for us to have a religion. He gave us life so He might dwell in us. Now if He wasn't ridiculous for dying for us and He didn't do it for a religion. Wouldn't you say living for Jesus and giving your life up for Him isn't ridiculous? If Jesus gave up His life for us then why would we think we are not called to do the same for Him. Love God seek His glory in Jesus, if we beleive in Him and the word of God to be true then where does it say live in Jesus but also keep doing things as the world would do? Now I am not saying to change, you can't but what I am saying
O God, Your love to me is like....O Your love to me is like the honeys and bees
they taste so sweet it makes me wanna sing
they give me joy
they give me hope
they make me feel like spreading my wings
O God Your love is everything
in this song I wanna sing
for You and only You
because to me my soul only sings for You
Praise my God
Praise His awesome glory
Praise His love
for His love is free and unconditional
You know it's hard to express this when I get all emotional
The hand that holds me
the lips that speaks
the hair that falls down on His shoulders
His staff and rod all firm in His hand
everything moves and grows all in His command
O God from the top of Your head to the end of Your toes
song sings of You everywhere You go
The trees will bend and the flowers all fall low
all praising You in all You do
O God all things declare
and with You in me I dare
to proclaim and exult Your mighty Name
for in Your name
all knees will bend and all tongue confess
O Lord, my soul confesses
that You alone are Lord
O God praise God my

I have been greedy

Yes, God is good but because He's good, He's also FAIR! He will condemn us to Hell because we have committed crimes against Him!
BUT!!! There is good news!!
Someone has already paid ALL OF OUR FINES!!! We no longer have to be imprisoned in Hell!!
We have the option to be free from our guilt!!
Jesus Christ has already sacrificed His innocent sel
Godly Relationships 47: Weariness and GoodnessThe world you live in has a way of testing your faith, your courage, and your intentions. If you intend to follow God, and if you follow through on those intentions, you'll be rewarded. Richly rewarded. But if you cave in at the first temptation, you're headed for trouble.
So here's a foolproof formula for building better relationships and a better life: don't ever get tired of doing the right thing. When you do, you'll discover that God never gets tired of rewarding you for doing the right thing.
mechanici want to kiss every aching wound you have,
bandage your heart every time it bleeds,
and patch up your mind over and over
because not a single tear deserves to fall
from your brandy-drenched eyes
but this dripping heart of mine can only feel
and the healing honey words it flames get caught
in the back of my throat and on the roof of my mouth
so i only have these passionate guttural cries
to tell you that i care all too much
and in order to fix you up again,
i would need to tear myself to tatters
and trade all of my working parts
for your leftover, fading pieces
but i just haven’t figured out how.
